Unlike other social media apps which are keeping their users engaged to their own social circles using the apps, Capdates on purposely restricts users from online communications, aiming to make users meeting new people physically rather than online, just like before technologies and internet became mature in the 90s’.The name Capdates was inspired by Japanese capsule toys which you would expect to get something with surprise.
The surprise in the case of Capdates would be new friends who the users are going to meet, someone you may not like, or new-found soul mates, just like you were at schools.
